Cake Raw Edge Applique Design. Machine embroidery pattern of a Slice of birthday cake, for 5×7 hoops.

This is a simple machine embroidery pattern, of a slice of birthday cake applique. The raw edge design, has a slightly free motion embroidery feel to it, and would make a wonderful design to adorn the front of greeting cards. I made a batch that I’m going to keep in my stash, ready to give to friends and family when celebrating birthdays (if you skip the step that sews the candle, perhaps it could be used to celebrate other occasions too?).

The design is completed in one 5×7 hooping, is an ideal item to have in your craft fair stock and works well as a scrap buster project.

The pattern comes with comprehensive step by step instructions written in UK English, and photos to accompany each step.
