In the hoop Bat Applique pattern. ITH Machine embroidery Halloween design for 5×7, 6×10, 8×11 and 9×12 hoops, for decorations and garlands.

This is an in the hoop (ITH) Halloween machine embroidery project, completed in one hooping. It comes in 4 different hoop sizes; 5×7, 6×10, 8×11 and 9×12.

Full instructions in English are given, with photos to accompany each step. It is an easy design to make, the hardest part really is choosing which fabrics and colour threads you want to use for each bat. I tried using glow in the dark vinyl for the body and wings, and it was quickly claimed by my children. They love them!

Please note, there are no eyelets or ribbon holes as part of this design. I have attached 4mm metal eyelets after unhooping the project, to enable them to be hung. Alternatively, a knotted ribbon can be sandwiched between the front and back panel before they are sewn together, to convert the pattern into a hanging decoration.

This pattern would look great as a Halloween decoration, made into a garland, or as an applique on a placemat. Its simplicity makes it incredibly versatile.

6×10 = 155.2 x 254.6 mm = 16,673 stitches
8×11= 177.2 x 290.7 mm = 18,713 stitches
9×12 = 179.6 x 294.7 mm = 17,995 stitches
