In the hoop Flex Frame Glasses Case pattern. Embroidery machine design of a fully lined snap closure glasses case for 5×7 hoops.
This smart ITH glasses case is made in the hoop, in two quick and easy 5×7 hoopings. There are no exposed seams in this fully lined case, and the finished product looks amazing.
The pattern comes with step by step photos and instructions. The instructions include two methods on how to make the snap closure channel, and the method differs, depending on whether you to choose either vinyl/leather or cotton. Please read the instructions carefully when choosing which fabric to use. If you choose to make the channel out of cotton, a small element of preparation is needed on a normal sewing machine, although this can be achieved by hand. The turning gap in the lining is also sewn by hand after unhooping.
A 9cm Flex frame is needed for the snap closure mechanism at the top of the case. This is added after the case has been completed on the embroidery machine.
These make great gifts, are easy to personalise, and make a brilliant item for craft fair stock.
Hoop 1 = 118.1 x 179.0 mm = 782 stitches
