Description

These ITH placemats are so easy even a novice can make them. You can whip them up quickly and easily and make perfect presents. It is also the perfect opportunity to use beautiful fabric.

You can also add your own embroidery design or applique onto these mats to personalise them further.

These mats are also fully reversible, as shown in the photos, so they are extra versatile.

The body of the mat itself is sewn onto wadding / fleece and is then quilted with a lovely swirly pattern. It is finished off with a satin stitch around the outside. The ENTIRE project is done I the hoop. No hand stitching is needed.

This set makes:
a 4×4 coaster,
a 5×7 mug rug (for a cup of tea/coffee and snack),
and either a 6×10 or 8×12 placemat.
