London Guard Applique. Machine Embroidery Soldier, Raw Edge Applique to fit 8×8 hoop. Part of Pixie Willow Patterns British Icon Series.
This London Guard applique, is a highly iconic British image and can be applied to so many different projects. Both the single guard, and a set of 3 guards, are included in this pattern.
It is pictured on a tablet case / book cover and cushion. Although these items are not included in the pattern, they demonstrate the wide range of uses this adorable applique has.
Not only is the London Guard a very typical image seen in the City, it can also be used for a variety of occasions including Birthdays, Christenings, Fathers Day and National Holidays. I have sewn the trio of Soldiers onto a cushion for my little boy’s bedroom and he loves it.
