Seagull With Fries for 6×6 Hoops

This pattern is for the members of “Machine Embroidery – Pixie Willow Patterns” Facebook group members. Click on the link to join.

It has no instructions, only the 6×6 design files, and the challenge is how to make it using your own initiative.

A couple of things to consider;

• What is the strange pentagonal shape (first 2 steps) for?
• Ideally you only want the outline of the seagull sewn in black once, so as not to have multiple conflicting lines. Which of the outlines should this be?
• Which step would you add the backing (felt?) fabric on?
• When and where would you add your hanging loop? There isn’t a specific step for this but it can easily be added.
