This is a quick and easy in the hoop (ITH) machine embroidery project, completed in two hoopings. The 4×4 hoop sews one chicken, the 5×7 hoop sews 2 chickens at the same time. All the chickens are the same size.

Although this pattern has been designed as a key charm, it is possible to use the chicken as a hanging decoration or as part of a gift – perfect for farm lovers and chicken owners.

4×4 Hoop 1 – wings = 98.4 x 98.0 mm = 1170 stitches
4×4 Hoop 2 – body = 98.9 x 99.7 mm = 4,157 stitches
5×7 Hoop 1 – wings = 105.9 x 175.6 mm = 2,179 stitches
5×7 Hoop 2 – body = 118.3 x 179.1 mm = 8,145 stitches
