In the hoop Mini Travel Wash Bag pattern. ITH machine embroidery design of a lined double zipper bag WITH pockets for 7.9×11 hoops

This is a very useful in the hoop (ITH) machine embroidery project completed in three 7.9×11 hoopings.
Hoop 1 makes the outer panel of the zip bag. Hoop 2 makes one of the internal zippers. Hoop 3 makes the inner part of the zip bag – and also attaches the outer panel to the inner panel.

The stippled fabric on the outer panel of the design, the border edging, and the separate lined pockets on the inside, create a truly stunning bag. The double zipper bag, is incredibly useful and would be a great gift. Show off your fabric scraps, mix and match those fat quarters and jelly roll strips – no two kit cases will be the same.

The ITH bag has been designed as a mini travel wash bag…ideal for popping in your suitcase and keeping safe small bottles of your favourite lotions and potions.
However, it can also be used for keeping together hair accessories, jewellery, travel sewing kits and mini first aid kits.

If you want the inner pockets to be slightly bigger, simply skip the steps that sew the decorative borders in hoop 3! It really is a versatile design – the bag is so so pretty, i’m tempted to make several of them!

Hoop 1 = 185.9 x 270.6 mm. = 11,369 stitches
Hoop 2 = 197.6 x 148.7 mm = 2,745 stitches
Hoop 3 = 197.3 x 273.6 mm = 7,157 stitches
