In the hoop Quilted purse pattern. Machine embroidery design of a fully lined quilted purse with sashiko stitching. Finished size 4×5″.

This is an ITH (in the hoop) project of a fully lined zipper purse, featuring a quilted panel on the front AND back of the purse. It is made in a 5×7 hoop but the finished size is 4×5″.

The finished look of the purse, can vary depending on what colour thread you use for the sashiko stitching and what fabrics you use to create the quilt blocks. Whether you choose to use a different fabric piece for each strip, or 2 different pieces, alternating across the panel, is entirely your choice. There are so many possibilities with this pattern – It is certainly, a great scrap fabric buster and ideal for jelly roll strips.

The pouch is completed in three 5×7 hoopings – the front and back panels are created using hoop 1- (hoop 1 is sewn twice to create the two panels), and the purse itself, is constructed in hoop 2. The pattern comes with comprehensive instructions written in English, and step by step and photos

Hoop 1 = 118.1 x 147.1 mm. = 4,512 stitches
Hoop 2 = 117.7 x 141.1 mm = 2,272 stitches
