In the hoop Quilted Zipper bag pattern. Embroidery machine design of a zipper pouch with vertical quilt panels and sashiko stitching for 5×7, 6×0 and 8×11 hoops.

This is an ITH (in the hoop) project of a fully lined zipper bag, featuring a vertical quilt panel on the front AND back of the bag. It comes in 3 different sizes!

The finished look of the zipper bag, can be vary greatly depending on what colour threads and fabrics you use to create the quilt blocks. Whether you use a different fabric piece for each strip, or 2 or 3 different pieces, alternating across the panel, is entirely your choice…there are so many possibilities with this pattern. It is certainly, a great scrap fabric buster.

The pouch is completed in three hoopings – the front and back panels are created using hoop 1- (hoop 1 is sewn twice to create the two panels), and the bag itself, is constructed in hoop 2. The pattern comes with comprehensive instructions written in English, and photos to accompany each step.

This happens to be one of my favourite zipper bag patterns, perfect as a gift for someone special, or why not treat yourself to a useful little zipper bag with plenty of style.

5×7 hoop 1 = 117.2 x 178.1 mm. = 5,731 stitches
5×7 hoop 2 = 107.6 x 177.1 mm = 2,591 stitches

6×10 Hoop 1 = 157.9 x 253.7 mm. = 9,450 stitches
6 x 10 Hoop 2 = 152.2 x 245.4 mm = 3,545 stitches

8×11 Hoop 1 = 195.3 x 275.6 mm. = 10,840 stitches
8×11 Hoop 2 = 187.1 x 263.4mm = 3,947 stitches

Included are THREE zip files. These consist of the pattern files in the below formats and each have a PDF instruction file with step by step photo tutorials for those who would like extra visual help.
