How cute are puffins! Puffins are surprisingly small birds with such an array of vibrant colours on their beaks, it is no wonder they have been referred to as ‘sea parrots’ or ‘clowns of the sea’.
This beautiful bird has now been made into a satin stitch applique design, available in 4 sizes for the machine embroidery hoop. By using different patterned fabric as an alternative to the natural black and white scheme, can bring an exciting new look to the gorgeous puffin.
The design has so many uses and is pictured on a cushion, tablet case, zipper bag and framed. (Please note, the design is for the puffin applique only, although the zipper bag design can be purchased separately from Pixie Willow Patterns).
